Leah E. Yoakum is a West Virginia native that received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Mountain State University in Beckley, West Virginia. She started a career in public accounting in Lewisburg, West Virginia, and followed this with work in the private and private equity owned sectors at the controllership level.

Ms. Yoakum joined Stevans & Associates, PLLC in September of 2024 as an Accounting Manager with a desire to help clients see the value in their financial data, and to help them achieve their goals both financially and professionally. She believes helping clients with internal operations and finances is an important area where finding the right questions and resourceful answers can propel a business in the right direction.

Ms. Yoakum is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of West Virginia and Pennsylvania. She is also a member of the West Virginia Society of CPAs, the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts (AICPA), and is a QuickBooks Pro Advisor.
